About the Owner

I am Noel Rose, owner of Anchor Aquarium Service, Inc.  I have been working with life support systems since I was a child. In 2002, I moved to New York City and soon began working in aquarium maintenance.  I started Anchor Aquarium Service, Inc. in 2005 and the company has been growing steadily ever since. I have been lucky enough to work in a variety of locations over the years including France, on the west coast, in North Carolina, and around the tri-state area. My work has been featured in both Metropolis and House magazines.  In 2008, I was proud to collaborate on a pond installation at the Whitney Museum’s 2008 Biennial with artist Fritz Haeg.  In 2009, I again collaborated with Fritz on his Dome Colony X in the San Gabriels exhibit at X Initiative in Manhattan.  We, under our stage name Leviathan Biological Installations, created Biodome of Curiosities featuring the 5 Boroughs Terrarium with donated soil samples from each of New York City’s 5 boroughs.
